Meghan Rosatelli has a Ph.D. in Media, Art, and Text from Virginia Commonwealth University where she completed her dissertation A Framework for Digital Emotions in 2011. Her research involves relationships between digitization and art practices as well as digital and internet art history. She is the founder and director of the online journal Digital America: an online journal on digital culture and art​, which is supported by the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Richmond.

Meghan also works in Art and Education at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts where she conceptualizes and manages digital interpretation projects.
